The two building, a former community center, is located in the rural town of Lima, New York. It was recently acquired by a local developer who intends to renovate the interior of the building to be a community healthcare center that offers outpatient drug rehabilitation treatment and counseling to the local community.
The existing building is a vacated community center in need of interior renovations. The building is divided into two wings: East and West. The outpatient drug rehabilitation center will be located in the East wing of the existing building, while the state of the West wing is outside the scope of this project.
The community medicine outpatient drug rehabilitation center will offer clinical and mental health services to support patients on their journey of recovery from substance abuse. The project will include private and group therapy rooms and clinical exam rooms.
Balance in life is essential to maintaining equilibrium. Stable care of physical health, mental health, and emotional health support better health outcomes. This community rehabilitation center will support patients on their path to recovery by providing a calm and healing environment that promotes physical, mental, and emotional health with the intention of improving patient’s overall wellbeing and quality of life.
